Feeding the Hungry
Feeding the hungry is about more than simply handing out food. Feeding the hungry is about meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and academic hunger needs our neighbors face daily, but that starts with the physical hunger. We can only meet these needs through relationships.

About Shepherd

Shepherd Community Center has served the near Eastside of Indianapolis since 1985 with a simple but staggering mission: to break the cycle of poverty through a Continuum of Care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and academic needs of our neighbors.

Shepherd offers wrap-around services to our neighborhood children, youth, families, and seniors from cradle to career and beyond through intentional services, programs, and relationships. Shepherd believes that by focusing on building deeper relationships within our Shepherd neighborhoods, we will create a more stable, healthy community for all ages.
