Hello, my name is Yannis and welcome to Shepherd Junior News. We are a team of eight journalists down to share with you, our audience some of the behind the scenes activities, and some people at Shepherd Community. For our first story, we will go to our reporter, Maddie, for a surprise interview. Maddie, take it away.

Maddie:
Thank you, Yannis, and moving on, we are going to be interviewing Mr.

Alan Sutherland:
Alan Sutherland.

Maddie:
Okay. What is your name and title?

Alan Sutherland:
Alan Sutherland and my title is I am in charge of the leadership pipeline and partnerships.

Maddie:
How long have you worked at Shepherd?

Alan Sutherland:
I have been on the staff side for five years.

Maddie:
What exactly do you do around here? [00:01:12]

Alan Sutherland:
Well, there are many who would ask that question. But what I get to do is the leadership pipeline of interns, 30 every summer and 15 fellows in the fellowship program every year into a pathway towards becoming a staff member or being sent elsewhere. And then also handle all the partnerships that Shepard has. [ There 00:00:01:43] are 55 partnerships. That we have.

Maddie:
Okay. How many children do you have?

Alan Sutherland:
I have six children.

Maddie:
Who is your favorite child?

Alan Sutherland:
Whichever one is with me at that time, but I love Juliana, she’s here. Ms. Juliana, you see her.

Maddie:
And last question, what’s your favorite animal?

O’Reilly:
Favorite animal? That’s a toughie. I do like dogs. I had a dog when I was a kid.

Zeus:
Okay, moving on.

O’Reilly:

We are going to be doing a monkey bar challenge and we have our contestants as Azuel and Yannis.
