Hello, my name is Azul and Welcome to Shepherd Junior News. We are a team of eight journalists that want to share with you, our audience, some of the behind the scenes activities and people at Shepherd Communities. For our first story, we will go to our reporter, Yannis, for an interview with one of our favorite teachers, Miss Emily. Yannis, take it away.

Yannis:
Thank you. Now, moving on to…

Ms. Emily:
Ms. Emily.

Okay, starting off. What is your favorite animal?

Ms. Emily:
I love giraffes.

What is your favorite color?

Ms. Emily:
I love pink, but I also love yellow and blue.

Yannis:
What is your favorite Bible story that we have learned in chapel?

Ms. Emily:
I do love when Elijah went to heaven. He was still alive.

Yannis:
What is your favorite song?

For our next story, we are going to enter the world of publishing. That’s right, publishing. Our reporter, Madi, has the story of some Shepherd kids that have published their first book. Madi, take it away.

Teacher:
Have you guys looked on Amazon yet?

Class:
No.

Teacher:
Do you know that the book that you guys did is on Amazon? And the person who took all your words and all your pictures and made it look as good as it could possibly look, Diana, when she saw it she just didn’t even know what to say. That’s Trina right here. So you need to give Trina a big round of applause.

Madi:
Thank you, Azul. We are going to be interviewing Miss…

Trina Lee:
Trina Lee.

Madi:
So, Ms. Trina, What do you do? Wait, where do you work?

Trina Lee:
I work at Author Solutions.

Madi:
Okay. How many books have you made?

Trina Lee:
Let’s see, when I first started I probably had done it, before I got into management, several thousand books of different genres from comedy to poetry to children’s books.

Madi:
Can we show one of your books?

Trina Lee:
Show the book? Here’s the book.I went in, and I was given basically a compilation of work from all the authors, from their pictures to their texts, and was given the Liberty to choose the picture for the cover. I picked the koala, which I felt was very natural and very sweet to fit in the style.

Madi:
So these are from fifth graders, which are in this room right now. Let’s move on to one of the fifth graders. What is your name?

Obdulio:
My name is Obdulio.

Madi:
What is your story about?

Obdulio:
Well, it’s about a lion and a puma, and vandalizing is not good.

Madi:
Okay. Do you like having your story in a book?

Obdulio:
Yeah, this makes me feel appreciated.

Madi:
Thank you, and we’re going to move on to Ms. Azul again.

Azul:
