So why do we care?

At times, it seems as if there is no progress in the lives of those we serve.  The appearance can deceive into hopelessness. One could question “Are we making a difference?”

Inches. Yes, progress may only be in inches-but progress it is. I spoke today with a child; he shared his excitement of a summer of “craziness.” He went back and forth between stories of fun and moments of impact.

Yes, we are making a difference, so celebrate inches with us today. The pain of the heartbreak, it fuels our fire to gaining more inches.
