So what is the solution? It starts with all of us admitting we have a role. It is not a police issue, it is a community issue.

So let’s start with the basis of the issue: a breakdown in community; we have children who have lost the ability to see they have a future, they have no vision for the future.

Scripture says,”people with no vision perish.” Unfortunately, we are seeing that in our community.

So let’s rally around this together. Invest in the life of a child; mentor, volunteer, and  support those who can.
We won’t turn this around quickly. But, we must do something, and support the police while we are doing it.

We have a great police chief, Rick Hite, and a great public safety director Troy Riggs. Support them, and the men and women they lead.

We can all do something.
