The story of Shepherd is not about the stats of the neighborhood, or even the programs Shepherd offers.

The story of Shepherd consists of the many lives that have been transformed through the love of Christ. Lives that came to Shepherd as children, and we walked alongside them and their families as they grew up and became the first in their family to graduate from high school. We watched them leave Shepherd with a new hope for the future. These young men and women are breaking the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.

These young men and women are transforming the city of Indianapolis:

She is an actuary for One America.

He is an IMPD officer.

She is a stay-at-home mom.

He is serving in the US Army.

She owns a design firm.

He is a welder.

She works at Shepherd.

He is a leader at Shepherd.

She works for county corrections.

He works construction.

She is a manager at Donatos PIzza.

And many more are still in college.
