While many college students head south for spring break, Shepherd is blessed to have groups from several colleges spend their spring break serving alongside us. These colleges include:

? Olivet Nazarene University
? Taylor University
? Butler University
? Mount Vernon Nazarene University
? Clemson University

We are blessed by this generation of college students. They are willing to take their time off to help serve families that are in need – even though these families aren’t even in their own community. It’s a beautiful understanding that our community doesn’t have to simply be in our geographic area, but rather our community exists where people are in need. Even more, these students are willing to help in a variety of ways:

  • Renovating homes
  • Tutoring children
  • Cleaning up alleys
  • Painting
  • Reading to children
  • Playing games

We would love for your college, student, or you to come serve with us as well! You can come for a day, a week, or spend six weeks serving with our Summer EXCEL Program. No matter how much time you give, your age, or the task you perform, YOU have the ability to make a difference here at Shepherd! You are the Power of One.
