18 Feb President’s Day

Today is President’s Day – a time we remember those who have led our beloved country. Which president was your favorite? I am so in awe of the first leader of our country, George Washington. He had all the power he could want and yet, he gave it away; his concern was for others, not himself. He made decisions to ensure what was best for the future. Our country needs more “Georges,” and not just in politics. We can all commit to live our life in service to others – to be stewards of the power we are given. How can we serve our communitities? How can we serve our neighbor’s? Just follow the example of George Washington!
