Can you lend a hand?

Shepherd can only do all we do for our neighbors thanks to many hands. These hands are that of donors, volunteers, churches, corporations, and many more. Volunteers play a valuable role in breaking the cycle of poverty on the near Eastside of Indianapolis.

One of these hands is made of many hands in the form of volunteers. We have volunteers as individuals, families, and even groups.

Volunteer groups come as youth groups, church groups, school groups, or even as groups from work. Volunteers engage with our children, families, and neighborhood in meaningful work that makes a difference.

Whether it is helping renovate, winterize a home, deliver food, and so many other options, we need and appreciate the extra hands. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our work at Shepherd.

During this holiday season – and all year long – we can always use more volunteers. To learn how you, your family, or group can get involved, visit our volunteer website: http://volunteer.shepherdcommunity.org/
